Chinnor Exiles vs Wycombe Town FC

Result :  Chinnor Exiles 1 Wycombe Town FC 2

Wycombe Town FC finally got their Premier Division season underway with a good win 2-1 away to Chinnor Exiles . Facing the wind 'Town' came under pressure from Chinnor early on but defended well and began to impose themselves on the game, playing some good free flowing, passing football 'Town' went close several times in the first half untill Liam Holder finished up a well worked move to slot the ball home to go in 1-0 at half time.

The second half Chinnor were relying on counter attacks with 'Town' having more of the game, Chinnor gained a free kick just outside the penalty area, which managed to squirm its way through a knot of players and past an unsited Richard Smale to make it 1-1. 'Town' defended well and after several attacks Micheal Butcher combined well with James Hall who fired home 'Town's' second goal to claim all 3 points.
