BERKS & BUCKS INTERMEDIATE CUP

With the welcome return of Mark Nugent and Andy Nicol, Wycombe Town cruised through to the next round of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup with a 5-2 win over FC Beaconsfield, who are currently sitting ontop of the Premier Division. In freezing conditions and on a hard pitch Wycombe played some great passing football in the difficult conditions and playing with the strong wind, went into a 3-1 lead by half time. Early in the second half, Wycombe then scored another goal to take it to 4-1 but FC Beaconsfield now playing with the wind, scored with a powerful drive to make it 4-2 but a penalty for Wycombe completed the score at 5-2. Wycombe's scoreres were Chris Ayres, Andy Nicol, Mark Nugent,Vinny Cuva and Billy Mason.

Wycombe Town are now away to AFC Donsville in the B&B Intermediate Cup this weekend 8th February.
