TOWN BATTLE ON!!!

After an hour long pitch inspection, Wycombe Town finally got to play Unity Nirankari FC in the FA Carlsberg National Sunday Cup. The hard and slippery pitch was difficult to master in the early stages but Town started to put some passes together and were soon two up and heading for half time, a few seconds left on the clock and Unity got a goal back with and unstopable shot from the right to make it 2-1 at half time. Unity came out strong in the second half and kept Town in their own half for long periods of time but Town held firm, made one or two changes and it paid off, with a two goal period to wrap up the tie 4-1 and progress to a home game next Sunday 7th February, in the forth round, to meet Lebec Tavern.


Both the Reserves and 'A' team games were postponed due to a frozen pitches!
