NEWS UPDATE!

News update......Training continues on Tuesday evenings, starting at 7pm, at Gossmore Playing Fields, Marlow, everyone welcome......Wycombe Town Reserves play a pre-season game at Bisham Abbey on the evening of Thursday 16th August, against Saunters Wood FC......the First Team have a pre-season game at Holtspur, on Sunday 19th August, kick off at 10.30 am, against FC Cressex.

PRE-SEASON MATCHES

Wycombe Town FC started their pre-season matches Cressex Astroturf, with a game against Seer Green FC who are newly promoted to Division One. It was a good starting point for 'Town' who had several regular players away so had a few new faces on show. Playing neat passing football, 'Town' cruised to a 6-1 win with Boxer Nicol scoring 3 goals, Delroy Howell with 2 and Chris Paget also got on the score sheet. Both the first, second and youth teams will be in action again soon.

EARLY START!!!

Wycombe Town youth team squad are making an early start to next season and are now training on a regular basis.

Any players under 18 who qualify for youth football and are looking for a team to play for in the coming season are welcome to come along and join in the preseason training.

LOOKING TOWARDS THE FUTURE!

Wycombe Town FC are looking towards the future and have introduced a youth team, they will play under the Wycombe Town AFC name and will play in the South Bucks Youth League. The boys have been successfully playing junior football together for the last few seasons within the excellent AFC Lightening FC organisation and have now with Wycombe Town FC's association, created a path for players to travel from junior, through youth into senior football. This will provide an ongoing route for players to develop and play in the Wycombe Town teams of the future, the teams will also share facilities and organisation etc including training where the Youth players will train with the senior players.
